A couple of Fridays ago I learnt how to crochet the head of an Amirugumi animal! I am so happy because it has been on my 'To Do' list for well...time!

It is very basic and yet to be given eyes but it is a start, and will hopefully lead on to a new section of produce that we can sell on the Fi & Me shop.

I was taught by the lovely (and very patient) Sue Diskin who is currently teaching at HART every friday morning. Sue is a textile artist and painter, specialising in crochet in particular but she has a plethora of other arts and craftsy skills up her beautifully crocheted sleeves!

Arc Community Gallery - Reddish

Congratulations to ARC who have won the 'Life-changing' category at the 'Proud of Stockport' Citizen Awards 2012!

Anyone who has visited an event or taken part in a class will certainly know this is a well deserved award. ARC is nestled in the heart of Reddish's community and is so important to the people who attend.

Can you see my owls debuting in the top right hand square? Exciting!

If you're looking for an beautiful gift as an altenative to the high street (without the queues and crowds) why not visit the gallery shop?
